Andreas Halvorsen

Chief Executive Officer

Andreas Halvorsen is a co-founder of Viking and Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for all firm-wide matters and oversees the firm's investment activities, including capital allocation and risk management. His previous roles at Viking included Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Manager of the Financials portfolio.

Prior to forming Viking in 1999, Andreas worked at Tiger Management Corporation, where he held several roles, and at Morgan Stanley. Andreas received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and received the Alexander A. Robichek Award, and a B.A. in economics from Williams College. Andreas also served as an officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy.
